Le Docce farm holiday resort rises on the enchanting estate of the same name, on a hill in the heart of Tuscany that gently descends toward Castelfiorentino. It lies at the border between Florence, Pisa and Siena, not far from other towns of scenic, historic, and cultural importance such as San Gimignano, Certaldo and Volterra.
The estate is part of the farming enterprise run by the Ciampalini family that has cultivated the land in this part of the countryside for centuries. The family renovated the estate and converted it into a farm holiday resort, preserving the typical features of the original rural buildings and characteristic Tuscan crops.

‘Since 1936 our family has been living at Podere La Casellina in respect with its traditions and the rhythm of nature. We are in Tuscany, only 18km south of Florence, in between Chianti and Valdarno. We grow olive trees, vines, fruits and vegetables, and produce our own oil and wine, according to old farming methods. We offer hospitality in the hayloft and stables of the 300 year old farmhouse where we live and prepare meals. Fresh eggs, home made jams and cakes, and typical Tuscan food based on products coming from our fields. You can walk through the farm or the wonderful woodland paths, picking chestnuts and precious wild mushrooms, or picnic in the vineyard or olive grove.’
