The “Ippocastano” is an old cottage located at the foot of the pleasant hill of Cortona in a unique area, rich in Etruscan history. The cottage springs forth from the gentle crotons hillside and is the result of long and accurate restoration. Perfume of sweet flowers are the frame of a swimming pool (available from Mach to September) surrounded by a radiant garden equip with garden furniture.

La fattoria Tecognano è un’azienda agricola biologica a conduzione familiare. Alcune produzioni, ma ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti sono: ortaggi di stagione, marmellate e animali da cortile.L’attività principale è rappresentata dall’allevamento del colombo da carne: 2000 mila coppie di riproduttori allevate in ampie voliere, nutrite con alimenti vegetali e mantenute in salute con l’utilizzo di piante officinali. Tutta l’assistenza della quale un ospite avrebbe sempre bisogno: informazioni su dove mangiare bene, informazioni turistiche.
I titolari dell’azienda sono sempre presenti e disponibili per qualsiasi necessità. Chi viene alla fattoria Tecognano deve sapere che qui troverà un’atmosfera familiare e sarà nostro impegno farlo sentire un pò come a casa sua.

Agriturismo Antica Villa Poggitazzi

The farm house Poggitazzi is in the centre of an ancient Tuscan Farm, in a structure built in 1911 and called “The Factory”, due to its first use as factory for agricultural processing of tobacco, linen and silk.
“The Factory” has been restructured and divided in apartments, without touching the original structures, but equipped with all modern comforts.
It is located in the centre of the “village”, which surrounds it for about 430 ha, making it easy to watch and take part to the typical working processes as the collecting and pressing of olives and the grape harvest, and to buy typical products. The nearest village is Loro Ciuffenna, 4 km away, while Florence, Siena and Arezzo are distant respectively, 35, 45 and 25 km. Other smaller towns such as Cortona, Sansepolcro, Pienza, Certaldo, San Gimignano are easily reachable. Walks in the surroundings are also possible to organise.
Besides the opportunity of living in a relaxing environment surrounded by nature, due to the richness of tradition of the Ancient Poggitazzi Villa, you can enjoy the suggestive atmosphere of a site marked by a past full of history, art and culture.
The farm house offers a discreet but friendly atmosphere, and large spaces both inside and outside, surrounded by century trees, in a dominant position with a stunning view on the underlaying valley.

Il Castelluccio is an old cottage built in local stone at 650 m above sea level and is surrounded by the vegetation of the Val Cerfone hills. It is ideal for whoevere wants to spend peaceful holidays in harmony with nature. There is the change to take long walks along widw, praticable roads inside a marvellous nature park where wild animals can be admired. It has four apartments furnished with local antique Tuscan furniture; supplied with water, electricity and independent heating.It has a private swimming pool and a vegetable garden for its guests.
There are restaurant with typical food. The farm holiday unit is part of the Bonucci Piero farm, which has a huge chestnut wood (marron variety) and a mill whith stone millstones in Stoppe D’Arca (AR) for producing local products such as chestnut flour.

Sansepolcro is also near by great artistic localities, like Arezzo, Florence, Siena, where important men, like Petrarca, Dante Alighieri and Leonardo Da Vinci lived.

Il casale, recentemente ristrutturato, è posto in posizione panoramica nelle immediate vicinanze di Cortona.

La residenza confortevole e l’ambiente naturale ed integro consentono una vacanza piacevole e rilassante.

L’azienda è situata in Loc. S. Pietro a Cegliolo nelle immediate vicinanze (2,5 Km) di Cortona, città di notevole importanza artistica e turistica. E’ situata in posizione collinare, nella tipica campagna toscana, con coltivazioni di olivo, vite ed alberi da frutto.

Sono possibili passeggiate di varia lunghezza e difficoltà nelle pendici del sovrastante monte S. Egidio.

L’abitazione principale, ristrutturata e restaurata di recente con cura, è stata modificata ed ampliata nel tempo ( Si stima che il nucleo più antico sia stato costruito nel secolo XVIII).
Vi sono stati predisposti due spaziosi appartamenti denominati Il Pino ed Il Cipresso. Di fronte all’ abitazione principale, dal recupero di un annesso originariamente destinato a ricovero di attrezzi agricoli, è disponibile un terzo appartamento denominato La Casina.

A disposizione degli ospiti dell’ intero complesso, nelle immediate vicinanze delle abitazioni, è funzionante una piscina di m. 6×12 situata in posizione molto panoramica.

Gli appartamenti sono tutti dotati di impianto di condizionamento nelle camere da letto e di riscaldamento a termosifoni. L’acqua calda nelle cucine e nei bagni è a disponibilità immediata.
