The Agriturismo Montepaolo is an old farmhouse dating back to 1500-1600, which used to be a countryside residence where the Count of Acquaviva D’Aragona went hunting. In the middle of the 19th century, one of the current owner’s ascendant bought it.
The Agriturismo has been carefully restored to be an elegant farmhouse with 10 rooms equipped with stylish furniture and with all comforts (telephone, frigobar, bathroom, fan…). All the rooms have a view on the countryside, rich of trees.
On the back of the house, in the middle of a very green garden, there is the swiming pool.
The Agriturismo offers bikes to its guests who would enjoy to go through the surrounding countryside, rich of almonds, olive and cherry trees.
Several historical and cultural itinerraries are available few kilometers far from the Agriturismo, as the famous the Grotte di Castellana and the very typical “trulli” of Alberobello.
Meals are cooked exclusively following typical local recipes, according to the traditional flavors of Puglia.
Furthermore, a little rural church of the 16th century and a wide courtyard constitute a lovely scenario where to celebrate special events at Agriturismo Montepaolo.
