The Shackleton resort originated from an idea of comfort and wellbeing designed with creativity. The Shackleton resort is a mountain shelter, a possible choice which offers many services and which gives the possibility to enjoy a particular synergy with the surrounding environment thanks to its privileged position. It is situated in the hearth of the biggest district of the European Alps: the Milky way. Thanks to its 460 km of slopes, it is a renowned destination for ski lovers because here ski can be carried out in all its forms. The mountain offers not only snow but also health and wellbeing thanks to its genuine products and the pleasantly crisp and healthy air of its woods. The rooms and the suites, divided into four typologies according to their size, draw inspiration from the constellations of the Milky Way, cause this is the name of the skiing district which Sestriere is the centre of.
All the suites have a common style but each has a personal appeal which makes it unique.
Colours and antique furniture complete comfortable and state-of-the art settings (TV LCD, satellite TV, internet, pc, electronic control of temperature and absorptions. In many suites: hydro massage, in some suites: sauna).
