Colombarotto Farm Holidays (agritourism) is placed within the “Parco Oglio Nord”, at the heart of cultural and naturalistic route, just 10 minutes far from the centre of Cremona.
The farmstead Colombarotto is a wide close court yard with peculiar long arcades, a little church consacrated to St. Sofia and St. Damaso, the manor house with the dovecot, and an ancient cowshed now used as salon.
Some guest rooms have been obtained out of the recently renovated shooting lodge, situated among the poplar groves near the river Oglio.
The paths among the poplar groves and the bank on the river Oglio are the ideal place for walks, bike or horse ridings, while watching the native wildlife.
Bed and Breakfast hosting takes place mainly in the former shooting lodge just renovated, with 6 wide double-rooms and 2 single rooms, all of them providing toilets and air-conditioning. Double roooms on the ground floor have cooking facilities and are easy to reach for disabled persons. The rooms on the first floor have a little balcony.
The renovation has been particularly careful as far as quality and typicality of materials (terracotta and larch floors, wood ceilings, country style furniture) and the respect of the environement (boiler working with bark) are concerned.
In the manor house we also have 3 rooms at your disposal. Here you can use a kitchen and dining room. Totally we have 11 rooms (24 beds).
It is the ideal place for people who love riding, mountain-bike, fishing on the river and rowing (we have a handy slipway on the river Oglio).
To those fond of riding, we suggest a solution which include horse board in box + bed & breakfast
