We are situated in the medieval Borgo of the hilltop hamlet of Velva in Liguria on the Italian Riviera. The village is surrounded by woods, olives and vine groves. In our restored period property we offer a tranquil and atmospheric setting for every guest with fine views of the Mediterranean sea that is a short distance away by car or public transport.
In this unspoilt environment we also offer our guests relaxation and therapy through courses and treatments and stimulating cultural events.
Breakfast can be tailored to suit personal tastes with homemade organic jams and marmalades from fruit grown in the land around the village. Fresh Eggs are available from the free-range village hens and bread is homemade. Organic homemade herbal tisanes and remedies are also available.
Guests can also use the gazebo with panoramic views of the valley for meals and relaxation.

Opening year round. hospitality:four rooms with indipendent entrance and bath, two of these rooms with mini kitchen, two beds for room adaptable to four. speciality:cold cuts and cheese(proprietor production), pansoti(large ravioli) with walnut sauce, “testaroli” (pasta dough placed on a clay dish or slab of sandstone and cooked in fireplace usually served with pesto sauce),potato pie “baciocca”, various grilled meat, “batolli” (short noodles made with chestnut flour, served with pesto sauce and ricotta). Direct selling: food shop- sale of meat(bovine, suine, la marpeina small cheese forms,yoghurt, olive oil, cold cuts, vegetable according to season, honey, eggs)
Recreational activities: visit of farm house (with the possibility to touch animals); visit oil mill and cheese factory, didatics on farming with programmed activities; visit of farm, bread production, cheese production, cooking activities also available.

The accomodation is a confortable villa over 2 floors, and lies less than 4km. from the seaside town of Chiavari.

We are half way between the Cinque Terre and Portofino. 45 km from Genova. There are 24 beds available. We organise courses of: cooking, painting, wine tasting, pottery, restauration. At Monte Pù you can: go bird watching, observe plantlife (particulary interesting Mediterranean flora), go walking, go mountain-biking.
