We are situated in the medieval Borgo of the hilltop hamlet of Velva in Liguria on the Italian Riviera. The village is surrounded by woods, olives and vine groves. In our restored period property we offer a tranquil and atmospheric setting for every guest with fine views of the Mediterranean sea that is a short distance away by car or public transport.
In this unspoilt environment we also offer our guests relaxation and therapy through courses and treatments and stimulating cultural events.
Breakfast can be tailored to suit personal tastes with homemade organic jams and marmalades from fruit grown in the land around the village. Fresh Eggs are available from the free-range village hens and bread is homemade. Organic homemade herbal tisanes and remedies are also available.
Guests can also use the gazebo with panoramic views of the valley for meals and relaxation.

Our edifice is formed by two flats just arranged, in the historical centre of e small village typical of the “Liguria” the bulkhead is formed by stones and the attics are wooden floors.
- The furnished flat nomed “The Vite” is formed by a living room (25 metres about) with kitchen, a shower- bath, a double bedroom, and a bedroom with two bads.
- The furnished flat nomed “The Olivo” is formed by a living room (28 metres about) with kitchen, a shower- bath, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, and a terrace (24 sq metres about) with a table, chairs and barbecue.

The enthusiasm, the wish of silence and peace, the pleasure to have contact with the nature, the unquestionable beauties of Sarzana, of this last part of the region “Liguria” on the border with Tuscany, together with the strong wish to return to the “routs” and to start a new (not easy) profession, is the main reason which induced Paola and Angelo to leave the “Lombardia” and to restructure an old farmhouse located in the middle of 45,000 meters plot. A few minutes from Sarzana’s historical centre, in the village “Monticello” in the middle of hills and of an oasis of silence you will find this white structure which is in contrast to the meadows’ green, the flowers’ and the nature’s various colours. This structure is ready the welcome you!

The caste is conveniently located just a 15 minute car ride from the beatiful Osilia Lake where you can go fishing.

The village of Perinaldo stands on an enchanting hillside, halfway between San Remo and the Principality of Monaco. Down below, in this lovely environment, rather like an amphitheatre, Il Rifugio Di Artemide bids you welcome. Beauty and simplicity are on the bill. Cinzia, the mistress of the house, efficiently assisted by her sons Jan Paolo and Jan Marco, proposes seven accommodation units, all decorated in sober and elegant style.

The four double bedrooms have been designed on the theme of flowers, paying warm homage to poppies, tulips, sunflowers and callas. The studio apartment takes inspiration from Japan, while the two apartments (for 2-4 and 2-7 guests) have borrowed the Provençal style. The 12.5 acres of
grounds contain two streams, two vineyards producing a very natural and fragrant Rossese DOC, olive-trees giving oil of outstanding quality, Mediterranean vegetables, fig and various other fruit trees. With all these products, Cinzia and her mother concoct a varied cuisine, brimming with colour and bearing an open mind to other types of world cooking (courgette flowers, for example, cooked in batter tempura-style).

In this luxuriant setting, restfulness is guaranteed, though there’s also a wide choice of activities. Among her many skills, Cinzia, a qualified translator, is also a sommelière and tourist guide. She can thus suggest many ideas for excursions and organize courses (biodance, yoga, verbal communication…) to make your stay truly unforgettable.
