The country house “Le Favate” in the Cilento National Park.
Near the sea, in a wonderful landscape, in an area which is steeped in history, is the Favate estate. The house, the chapel, and the water mill which were builts in 1600 are still, miraculously intact, and stand surrounded by old olive groves in an estate of 100 hectares. Here you will find a place and a way of life you thought had long ago disappereared. Our house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It has been sympathtically restored usin traditionals materials, there are massive woodan beams and handmade terracotta floors.

The farm holidays “La Petrosa” is composed of a central building and a camping area, as well as five apartrnent5 and rooms in an old castle of 800 for bed and breakfast. The building of farm holidays centre, situated in Ceraso locality Petrosa, dates back to ’700 and is made up of two floors. At the first floor there are two spacious vault premises what in past times have know the fragrance and gurgles of wine in fermentation, in fact this locality on the map of I.G.M. is referred as “Vineyard of the courtyard”, today used for storehouse of forage, maize and wheat in grains. The present use is for holidays farm at the first floor of the same building while a small of hay exhales from the lower floor. Our typical dishes change with the seasons because they are all rich of fresh vegetables cultivated in our kitchen garden biologically.

The Agritourism “La Provvidenza” lies in the municipal district of Capaccio, in small place near Sabatella. It’s an old Agricultural village, lying just overs kilometres from the temples of Paestum and the city centre. From the farm you can reach some charming places in a short time (Paestum, Pompei), which are rich in art works and natural beauty, and have noteworthy archaeological heritage. You can see the suggestive ruins and taste the famous “Buffalo’s mozzarella” (kind of Italian cheese made from buffalo’s milk); You can go on a pilgrimage to religious places; for people who are keen on sea, there are beaches only 4 km far from the farm. The wonderful beaches in Capaccio-Paestum are visited by a large number of Italian and foreign tourists attracted by the crystal-clear sea.
